MUSIC: D'Urso's fest attracts stars
Last year, Park Ridge musician Joe D'Urso created the Rockland-Bergen Music Festival in Tappan, N.Y., as a way of throwing himself a 50th birthday party. This year it's back and bigger than ever. Among the stars at the June 27-28 event: John Sebastian, Willie Nile, Shawn Colvin, Garland Jeffreys, John Eddie, Finn & the Sharks, Alice Leon, Steve Forbert, Aztec Two-Step, Joe Grushecky, Guy Davis, David Johansen, Tom Chapin, Spook Handy and many more. Early-bird tickets go on sale starting today ($48 per day, $85 for both days). Anybody born in 1965 gets in free.
